About Us:
In 1994 Pat Riley was a 27 year old college graduate from California State University Long Beach in Health Science when he created Your Life’s Calendar. He took a job at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Long Beach working in a residency support program as a health technician. With some basic computer skills he created Your Life’s Calendar in his spare time. He recalls inspiration from Doug Bader creator of the Dream and Porpoise Game. The game also had blank squares in which one would draw quick sketches or pictures of dreams and goals relating to things like work, play, and love. Pat was also inspired by David Viscott, a once acclaimed live radio talk show psychotherapist who spoke about how to take control of your life. David recommended using 3 x 5 cards to list goals and steps to take in order to achieve success. Several other superstar “self help” professionals to include Tony Robbins, Leo Buscallia, Dr. James Dobson, John Bradshaw and a host of others indirectly contributed to Pat’s overall development. He believes his current level overall happiness is due his use of Your Life’s Calendar. A special thanks to Pat's extrodinary partner Sarah Kelton whose search for direction in life helped to launch our mission of sharing Your Life's Calendar with the world community.
When not planning to speak at seminars on this subject he is a performing singer songwriter, real estate developer, houseboat broker, and budding naturalist currently residing in the beautiful hills of Tennessee.
